Web Communications, Viral Marketing and Social Media Manager (New Position)
Christian Relief Services Charities (CRSC) is a leading human services, housing and international sustainable development nonprofit organization, with a number of diverse charitable affiliates run by passionate staff and caring boards. CRSC’s affiliates have several websites with light but growing traffic and approximately 6,000 e-subscribers.
The Web Communications, Viral Marketing and Social Media Manager will play a critical role in the upkeep and management of online content on all of the CRSC Websites. Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

researching and developing internet philanthropy ideas and practices

creating, developing and implementing exciting, interactive content and technology for social impact

editing and writing for our Jooml-based Websites, Facebook sites, blogs, etc…

develop content strategy and coordinate with more matured multichannel marketing

managing social media and viral marketing and assisting with development of social media strategy
Requirements include: B.A. / B.S. degree or the equivalent, preferably in communications, English, advertising, marketing or a related field. Ideal applicant will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience in internet philanthropy, internet technology and communications, political advocacy, charitable marketing and/or Web writing. German fluency a big plus and working knowledge of Joomla 1.5+ a plus but not required.
