It has been six months since the devastating earthquake in Haiti and we are all well aware to the fact that the rebuilding process will take years. So too our support – which is vital to ensuring that the long-term relief and development process builds a sustainable future for Haitians – will be a matter of years and not months. This is an update on where our efforts stand, and how you can help us continue our critical support.

Immediately after that fateful day we contacted our partner in Haiti and rushed emergency funds of $40,000 to the Fondation pour les Enfants d'Haiti, a Haitian-led and run non-governmental organization with a hospital, and two clinics, and an orphanage near Port-au-Prince that were not totally destroyed in the earthquake or aftershocks.
